Lagos
With amazingly beautiful beaches including Meia Praia, Praia do Pinhão,Lagos is one of Portugal’s most popular tourist draws. Lagos is located in the south of The Algarve – which is just holiday magic with loads of sun, natural bay, lovely cliff faces and wonderfully warm water. The town of Lagos has many tourist advantages such as the renting of bicycles, mopeds and even horses for the adventurous.
Don’t miss a magical boat trip from the harbour.If you want some culture on your trip don’t forget to visit the Museum Municipal, it is filled with many ecclesiastical treasures among other things.
Lisbon
The countries capital is a beautiful area that at one time lured settlers and traders alike.Set within seven small hills next to a river it is truly a lovely site. You will find Lisbon to be extremely laid back and the architecture is from a world gone by. If you are trying to decide what time to visit Lisbon it does depend on what you want to do. Travel any month if you want to lazy on the beach. A really enjoyable time in Lisbon is during Carnival, which falls in February and March, but please be aware that the cost of most things will rise as it is the one of the capitals busiest times. Peak season is the middle of June through to August. |
